Tropicana Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA (with any
overflows at other near-by hotels). It is
located directly on the Las Vegas Boulevard ("The
Strip"). The negotiated special room rates for conference attendees are very competitive.

description
The
Tropicana Hotel is one of Las Vegas’ newly renovated
luxurious hotels overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. This
is a mega hotel with excellent conference facilities.
The hotel is minutes from the Las Vegas airport with
shuttles/buses to and from the airport. This hotel has
many vacation and recreational attractions, including:
Las Vegas Health Spa, swimming pools, casino, sunning
decks, easy access (walking distance) to nightly shows
(MGM), snack bars, a number of restaurants, shopping
areas, bars, and more. Many of these attractions are
open 24 hours a day and most are suitable for families
and children. The hotel is within walking distance from
most other Las Vegas attractions. For the benefit of our
international colleagues, the state of Nevada neighbors
with the states of California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and
Arizona. Las Vegas is only a few driving hours away from
other major cities, including: Los Angeles, San Diego,
Phoenix, and Grand Canyon.

Hotel Rates
The room rate is
$79.00 + 12%
County Tax (the tax rate is correct as of January
2013 – the room rate already includes the $19.99
Resort Fee which is a mandatory fee set by all major
hotels in Las Vegas) per night for Single or Double
occupancy (no extra charge for double occupancy);
this rate is available only from July 21 (Sunday
arrivals) to July 25 (Thursday), 2013 (i.e.,
checking out on July 26, 2013). For more than two
persons staying in the same room, there is an
Additional Person Charge of $25 per person, per
night (maximum of four persons to a room). The main
organizer of the conferences has reserved a large
block of rooms (over 3,300 room nights) for the
duration of the conferences. These rooms are
available only to our conference participants (on
First-Come First-Serve basis.)

Rates for other dates (not listed above) can be
obtained from the hotel. Rooms have to be reserved
by no later than June 19, 2013. The hotel will honor
the room reservations until the block of rooms
reserved for the conference is fully booked (based
on a First-come First-serve). We anticipate that the
block of rooms will be fully booked prior to June
19, 2013. Therefore, attendees are strongly advised
to reserve their rooms as early as possible if they
plan to stay in the hotel where the conferences will
be held. At the time when the room reservation is
made, the credit card (given above) will be billed
for the first night's room rate and tax (a procedure
followed by all major hotels in USA). Full refund
will be made if the reservation is cancelled four (or
more) days before the date of arrival.

Directions
You can get
to Tropicana hotel by shuttle (bus) service from Las
Vegas airport. The shuttles run 24 hours a day (7 days a
week). Ask the information desk at the airport to direct
you to the shuttle stations. Taxi services are also
available 24 hours a day at the airport as well as
Limousine services.
Conference Location
Las Vegas is located in Nevada, neighbouring California,
Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona, and only a few driving
